Welcome to Le Garage Biarritz, a journey back in time to the Belle Époque with architecture reminiscent of the late 19th century and reminders of its past life as a garage for classic automobiles. Through curved glass doors, 27 rooms and suites are stepped in history with a nod to neo-retro design. A 4-star boutique hotel fully transformed with calming colours that echo the seaside landscape, where ocean views are just beyond the windows.
On our doorstep, a heated swimming pool, open from May to October, offers a private respite amid summer crowds. Surrounding by sun loungers beneath blue skies, a place to pause and cool off. Beside the pool, a restaurant offers a place to spend lunches, dinners and Sunday brunches with the warmth of the summer breeze, the sound of crashing waves in the background.

A sanctuary on the Basque coast, beneath blue skies and summer breeze. Laps in the heated swimming pool, a gentle embrace to cool off on the hottest days, a touch of warmth as temperatures dip. Sun loungers stand ready, beckoning for afternoons relaxing after a morning spent surfing or on the golf course. The pool also welcomes non-resident guests outside peak season, offering a chance to while away the day by the water, subject to availability. Steps away, yoga and pilates practice begins over the weekends. As the weather changes and winter creeps in, spa treatments at Regina Experimental are a tonic for the soul.

Le Garage invites you to enjoy a cosy Sunday brunch in our urban oasis with live folk music. Served on a tray with fresh seasonal produce: cold-pressed juice, hot drink, granola, starters, a main dish, and dessert. Every Sunday 12:00–14:30. €39 per person.

A little urban escape in the heart of Biarritz. Just steps from the Atlantic, spend a day by Le Garage’s heated outdoor pool, between refreshing swims, lazy afternoons in the sun and the sound of the ocean nearby.
Open daily from May to October and heated to 24°C, the pool welcomes non-resident guests outside peak season, subject to availability. Come for a swim after a morning on the waves, unwind after a round of golf, or simply take a few hours to slow down by the water.

About
A hotel comes to life
A place with a past, a design that honours tradition. Interior designers Agnès Guiot and Pauline Minsé looked to the building's history, a space that has been an aero club, a garage and a classic car workshop over the course of a century. Industrial details set the tone: raw concrete, unfinished wood, steel furniture and retro light fittings that nod quietly to the garage era without ever becoming a pastiche. Terrazzo runs through the rooms, its nuances and warmth a material found in the original design, repurposed and reimagined. Arches echo the building's iconic facade throughout alongside bold colour: deep blue and sea green for the ocean, terracotta and pink to bring the warmth of the Basque coast indoors.

The cradle of surf, the heart of golf. Beyond the doors of Le Garage, activities unfold. Adrenaline raises as surfboards glide across waves, a moment spent soaking up some of Europe’s best surf right here on the Basque coast. An experience at your own pace, or under the guidance of a teachers at our surf camp. On dry land, discover Golf de Biarritz Le Phare, a historic 18-hole course overlooking the ocean. A challenging course on our doorstep, a game like no other.
