Step into the courtyard of our hotel in the 2nd arrondissement and discover our restaurant, a sweeping room beneath a towering glass ceiling serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The feeling of outside brought in with palm fronds swaying in the breeze during summer months and stars glimmering from above in winter. At the helm, Giovanni Passerini, a chef at the forefront of the new Parisian gastronomic scene, revisits the great classics of Franco-Italian cuisine.

Our restaurant at Grands Boulevards Experimental is a nod to Italian cuisine interpreted through a French lens, tucked away in the heart of Paris. Local products and seasonal produce hand selected from trusted purveyors are a highlight of the menu. A cosy hideaway during the colder months, or the perfect place to dine with friends in summer beneath the most outstanding canopy in Paris. The decor echoes the paradox of the hotel's location—hidden amidst the bustle of the Grands Boulevards, interior architect Dorothée Meilichzon has chosen to open up spaces by blending indoor and outdoor environments. She plays with the placement of clashing patterns and materials like terracotta, plants, trellises, fountains and statues disrupting traditional perspectives. Forest greens, soft tones and earthen hues pay homage to the garden that once stood beneath. An escape at the centre of Paris, hidden away from plain sight.

A journey that started in Paris, in the summer of 2007. A bar on a quiet street, the start of Paris’ cocktail renaissance.
