About
A hotel comes to life
Tucked away in Venice's Dorsoduro district on the banks of the Giudecca Canal, a grand building that could tells countless stories. Originally erected in the 16th century as Palazzo Molin a Zattere, the magnificent structure is a Renaissance-era palace built in Venetian Gothic style. Its walls were once home to Giovanni Stucky, the Swiss-Italian businessman who purchased the building in 1937. In the years following it became the headquarters for Adriatica di Navigazione.
In its latest iteration, the secret garden originally laid in the 16th century has been revived to echo its original beauty and the interiors have been designed by Dorothée Meilichzon.
