Discover Henri, a Parisian bistro told through a British lens with renowned chef Jackson Boxer at the helm. A jewel boxed tucked away, a room adorned with white linen and the flicker to candlelight where breakfast, lunch, pre-theatre dining and dinner are served. A menu that begins with Grilled Snails, interprets the classic Steak Frites and finishes with iconic Sticky Toffee Madeleines.
A Parisian bistro told through a British lens
Renowned British chef Jackson Boxer is at the helm of Henri, the restaurant at Henrietta Experimental. Inspired by classic Parisian bistros and French cuisine, with a nod to British cuisine, Jackson's menu is an exploration of iconic French dishes with a twist and a playful touch incorporating seasonal produced and locally sourced products. Open every day, Henri offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and pre-theatre dining as well as cocktails at the bar, just inside the doors of the hotel. Located in the heart of Covent Garden, close to Soho, Trafalgar Square and The Strand, Henri is a centrally located restaurant and the perfect place to enjoy a meal.
On the menu, Jackson’s dishes are a tribute to the incredible talent of the French capital, a nod to his favourite Parisian dishes reinterpreted with British nuances from Fried Pied de Cochon with black garlic to a Truffle & Tunworth Cordon Bleu.

Pre-Theatre at Henri
Our pre-theatre menu is a celebration of some of our favourite dishes by Jackson Boxer served with enough time for a spot of dessert, and perhaps a snack to start. Choose 2 or 3 courses from our Pre Theatre Set Menu including our much loved Carrot Râpée and our decadent Steak Frites, order wine or a cocktail, and we'll whisk them to your table as fast as we can, giving you the confidence that you'll get to your seats on time.

A Chef's Table for a party of 10 to enjoy an intimate dining experience. A full or partial privatisation of the restaurant to celebrate any occasion with up to 80 guests. A Mezzanine with its own private bar accommodating up to 30 seated and 35 standing max.
DESIGN
A dining room reimagined
Following a refurbishment led by designer Dorothée Meilichzon, Henri combines British artisans and Parisian sensibilities, Meilichzon’s meticulously crafted interiors blend timeless Art Nouveau accents from typical French brasseries with elements of the traditional British pub. Furnished with intimate booths and long banquettes draped in white linen and botanical motifs woven throughout, the space pays tribute to the historic Covent Garden fruit and vegetable market. Dark wooden paneling, leather, and velvet create a cosy, comfortable atmosphere where guests can relax for hours in the shadows of flickering candlelight.
