A grand restaurant, tucked away in the heart of Le Marais in the centre of Paris. An impressive space, with beloved chef Mélanie Serre at the helm. Weaving inspiration from a childhood spent in the wilderness of Ardèche with the refined dexterity of working around the world at Eden Rock in St Barths, Joël Robuchon in Monaco, L’Atelier Étoile in Paris and La Brasserie du Bassin Cap Ferret her menu lives in duality: a nod to French fine dining underlined by a New York state of mind.

A Crossroad of New York & Paris in Le Marais

An air of conviviality, where New York meets Paris. Soaring ceilings, a nod to Le Marais’ ecclesiastical past, framing an impressive dining room reminiscent of nights out in Manhattan. Interior architect Tristan Auer draws inspiration from a monastic mentality and a fictional wanderer, leaving relics scattered. A celebration of neo-Gothic forms, a striking setting for long lunches, leisurely dinners, and weekend gatherings for brunch with friends.

As the food reaches the table, an outstanding parade of plates to share unfolds. Each dish an impressive display, evoking the elegance of the 1950s American chophouse, where beautifully marbled steaks graced the table and towering platters of lobster appeared like jewels atop crisp white tablecloths. From indulgent classics to playful reinterpretations, the room fills with the joyful hum of unhurried mornings, while from lunch through dinner, the clink of glasses, the muted pop of a cork, and the delicate pour of a martini provide a daily soundtrack.

The joyous chorus of weekend delight, a twinkling of jazz, soaking up the pleasure of unhurried moments.

A dining room, reimagined

A veritable treasure trove of discovery, an elusive character imagined by visual artist Clovis Retif. A figment of his imagination, just one step ahead leaving guests in his wake. Each nook, a hidden gem from his travels. Fabrics and textures are reminiscent of a far off land, yet a place not easily identified or understood. A vision of a fictitious journey through the eyes of designer Tristain Auer, comes to life throughout the dining room at Temple & Chapon. A place to gather and recount stories over each dish, the echo of Philip Glass in the background. A backdrop ever-changing, as if our character’s journey continues.
